Middle name for Esmé

Hi all

Had a last minute change of mind to Esmé as a first name and now our middle name ideas don’t seem to go… we were thinking Lily, Mae, Ada,Eva

Can you please suggest some new ones?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I think Esme rose sounds lovely but I’m aware rose is such a popular middle name… I don’t suppose that really matters.

So you want to pronounce it Ez-may and potentially have 'mae' as a middle name? I'd rule that one out !!

I really want it pronounced Es ‘may’

Then spell it Esmay or Esmae.

Esmé is not pronounced Es-may! Certainly not in French and it's a French spelling.

It’s quite often pronounced Ez-May in the Uk (where have you been?), but Ez-me is more popular I think. No need for weird spellings either way.

Esmé is pronounced Es-mé

The é is pronounced more like -eh rather than ay. It's a very difficult sound for English speakers.
