You don't hear this name too much anymore (or at least I don't!).

What are peoples opinions please?

And would you spell Jody as above, or Jodie?

I've never met a Jodie I liked (although I'm sure @JodienotJody is lovely!)

Jody for a boy is cool (not Judy for a boy which is what my phone likes)

I agree with the bully comment. It’s a nice enough name but I much prefer Josie.

I was named after Jody from The Red Pony by John Steinbeck. I’ve always liked my (our!) name because it’s unusual and unisex.

I agree Jody for a boy, Jodie for a girl.
Don't know many. There was a girl in dcs class called Jodie, she's an adult now.

I know a male Jody. It's an OK name. Jodie was very popular for girls in the 70s and 80s and was only slightly classier than Tracey.

Couple of famous ones - Jodie Whittaker and Jodie Comer, both fab!

I'm a Jodie and I was bullied relentlessly throughout my childhood.

As a way of identifying bullies I dint think it's foolproof 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s very 90s. I didn’t like it then and don’t now, it’s sort of nothingy and also quite ugly.

I rather like it. I do think it’s a bit dated, but not to the extent it would put me off. I think it’s quite a cool name - the cool kid, maybe a little bit naughty. It’s a lovely sound.

I'm a Jodie ( trying not to get offended by the chavvy /downmarket comments!!)

It's not done me any harm. I'm 40 but I have met Jodie's younger than me.

The only thing I will say is it will get misspelled no matter how you spell it. I get Jody or Jodi at least once a week!!
