Who was the most beautiful girl in your year at school?

Mine was Juliette. The other ‘pretty girls’ were Luisa, Holly and then there were a few Rebecca/Rachels.

What were the names of the pretty people?

Middle school: Natasha. She was beautiful and could be nice but she was friends with the mean girls.

Secondary school: Emily. Stunning, kind, friendly.
Everyone fancied/liked her and I admired how she managed to straddle all the social groups and stay popular. She went out with the best looking lad in school.

She ended up marrying one of the nerds from school. He wasn't good looking at all, not unpopular so much as didn't really register with most people. He was a bit immature and I would never have put them together. I certainly wouldn't have expected her to stay around here.

There was a stunningly beautiful Catriona at uni. She had such a low self esteem and had no idea how gorgeous she was. She was also a really lovely person but didn’t finish the course. Left in second year. I did a bit of Facebook stalking once and she is still just as stunning. She certainly doesn’t look her age. Looks about 15 years younger than me and is the same age.

Went to school on a Scottish island in the 1960s. No one looked beautiful... we all had 3 jumpers, a scarf and a hat...even indoors! We were certainly all rosy cheeked.

Do you think because Rachel is such a lovely name, people associate it to loveliness and treat the girl accordingly, so she then in then perceives herself as lovely, behaves as such, and ultimately that is what beauty is.. Confused
I know a lovely Rachel. And I know an absolutely horrible one. I don't think the name makes a difference here. Personally don't think it's the great a name anyway.

Juliette: she had the most mesmerising bluest eyes.
She was quite eccentric , but she’s famous now and very successful.
I think she must be one of the few girls that most of the year group would remember.
She was, and still is, absolutely stunning.
