I love it but was put off by the Tory press spokesperson angle....

FairyCakeWings · 15/03/2022 08:37

It made me think of a car.

Aquamarine1029 · 15/03/2022 08:35

Medication.

Zillamop · 15/03/2022 08:33

It's quite Sloaney but I like it

lillyrabbit · 15/03/2022 08:15

I think it’s lovely!

CarbonelCat · 15/03/2022 08:06

Always makes me think of Vanessa Feltz!

@inappropriateraspberry

Isn't it a model of car?
Are you thinking of the Austin Allegro from about 40 years ago?

I love the name Allegra but I’m less fond of Ali/Ally so the shortenings would put me off a little.

romdowa · 15/03/2022 08:01

Sounds like the name of a medication

The car was a long time ago and was the Allegro

I remember the days when they were, seemingly, every other car. But it's not a strong association now, and more than Marina would be

I think it's a lovely name

Zeebs27 · 15/03/2022 07:55

I don’t like it, it sounds very harsh as a name

I liked this, it was on my list. I wasn't overly keen on Al/Ally nicknames but as a full name it's very nice.

toastofthetown · 15/03/2022 07:12

I’m really not an fan. It sounds harsh and unpleasant to me. I’d consider if you are ok with Al/Ally as they are the most intuitive diminutives.

justasoul · 14/03/2022 23:33

An even split between “beautiful” and “antihistamine” for me. Sorry!

rainforestfriends · 14/03/2022 23:31

I love it

My Allegra is 8 months old, and what a little darling she is

Isausernameavailable · 14/03/2022 23:30

Possibly my favourite name, it's lovely

Sapphireskies · 14/03/2022 23:29

Love it
