Final 3 names, but we can't decide, so thoughts welcome!
Surname is Elliot. Thanks :)

Sylvia, or even better, Sylvie. A name that doesn't end in -a flows better with Elliot.

Aurelia is OK.

I have an irrational dislike of Tabitha, unless you a naming a cat.

MyHusbandTheIdiot · 13/03/2022 20:05

Aurelia Elliot is an absolute mouthful.

Tabitha gets my vote

boomshakalacka · 13/03/2022 20:04

Sylvie is nicer than Sylvia in my opinion

idiotmagnet · 13/03/2022 19:41

Tabitha. Great name

Snowbell99 · 13/03/2022 19:39

Tabitha or Aurelia. Sylvia is bland.

Tabitha and Aurelia are both nice.

But Aurelia will be more common soon.

Aurelia is a bit L heavy with your surname.

So maybe Tabitha?

Meandthesky · 13/03/2022 19:27

Definitely Tabitha!

duvetdayforeveryone · 13/03/2022 19:24

@1Hazel1 Do you have a middle name picked out?

inheritancetrack · 13/03/2022 19:22

sylvia flows better with Elliot and I bet its going to come back into fashion. been about 60 years since it was last in

PatterPaws · 13/03/2022 19:20

*Sorry to be negative but you will get an eliding r with the surname.

e.g. Tabithur Relliot*

^ Not necessarily, it totally depends on your accent. When I say Tabitha Elliot I don't have the two names run into each other.

Love Tabitha, OP.

Evvyjb · 13/03/2022 19:16

A Plath fan by any chance?

I really like Tabitha and Sylvia. Aurelia is a genus of jellyfish (while it is a very pretty name!)

KirstenBlest · 13/03/2022 19:15

Friend has this surname and they chose names not ending in -a for this reason

DespairingHomeowner · 13/03/2022 19:14

I think Aurelia Eliot is hard to say so that’s a negative

Of the 3, Sylvia is my preference: I prefer either Sylvie or Aurelie to your choices though

DogsAndGin · 13/03/2022 19:13

All beautiful names. Just added them to my own list! I wouldn’t go Tabitha, even though it’s lovely, because Tabby

Emily29 · 13/03/2022 19:13

Aurelia is my favourite out of those. In my opinion Sylvia is a bit old fashioned

VampireMoney · 13/03/2022 19:13

Tabitha. But then I have a Tabitha so I'm biased. It's a lovely name and she gets loads of compliments.

Sylvia sounds quite dated.

Aurelia reminds me of Love Actually.

ladygindiva · 13/03/2022 19:11

I know a Sylvan, which I think is a beautiful variation on Sylvia and also goes with your surname well.

ladygindiva · 13/03/2022 19:09

Sylvie Elliot runs nicely.

CrystalTits · 13/03/2022 19:07

Aurelia is beautiful. Always makes me think of the heartwarming romance between Aurelia and Jamie in Love Actually! It's a gorgeous name.

KirstenBlest · 13/03/2022 19:04

I'm not keen on any of them. I thoroughly dislike Sylvia, Aurelia is too disney princessy and Tabitha is a bit kitteny.

If I had to pick, it woud be Tabitha because at least I don't hate it

1Hazel1 · 13/03/2022 19:02

@Tdcp

My dd is Tabitha so I'm a little bias to the name 😂
Ah nice! Does she get called Tabby? I once knew a Tabitha who went by the nick name of Bee.

narcdad · 13/03/2022 18:36

Aurelia sounds like a Disney princess name so would be a not for me
Tabitha is ok but not keen on nn Tabby
Sylvia is awful - sorry

MissCarolina · 13/03/2022 18:27

Love Sylvia! Tabitha is nice too but not so keen on Aurelia.

Allthegoodusernamesareused · 13/03/2022 18:26

I love Tabitha. Aurelia is OK. Not a fan of Sylvia.
