I just watched Mrs. America and was thinking how cool Gloria would be on a child in reference to some great feminists! It’s such a strong, lyrical name! And oh so glorious Wink

Gloria is a bold choice. Go for it if you're that sort larger-than-life sort. With apologies to those so-named I find Mary and Anna incredibly ordinary, but not unpleasant.

Don't call her Rose. People will just yell "ROSE!" all the time like in Titanic! Smile

Elizabeth or Alexandra are both beautiful.
To answer your question, the only one I dislike is Gloria. I wouldn’t use your spelling of Maddalena, but I like Magdalene or Magdalena.

I’d go for Alexandra, Mary - or if you want to make a big statement then Gloria. Alexandra my favourite overall - elegant but not dull.

Isabel/la and Rose are so overused they need to be retired for a century, Elizabeth and Anna also very popular. Margaret has an austere elegance, but could be dreary on a quite girl.

Maddalena is the only one I don’t like - it’s an odd form of the name in the UK, go with Madeleine or - if you want drama - Magdalena

Love Rose as a first name, massively overused in the middle spot.
I also like Alexandra (although possible Lexi nickname is awful). Isabel is nice too although all variations are very popular still.
I personally dislike Mary and Margaret, to me they seem so old fashioned but not in a good way.

I like Elizabeth. Nothing to do with the queen. In a similar vein is Georgiana, definitely a name we'd have picked if we'd had a girl.

Not really. Maddelena isn’t particularly my taste but it’s not awful.
