What do you think of when you hear Sasha?

I love the name Sasha and wondered what other people thought of it. Would you think a Sasha was a boy or a girl? Do you associate Sasha with anyone in particular?

Russia/Alexander/Alex is initial thought but due to a Russian ballet teacher of my brother's many moons ago.
But I think it's ok a girls name too.

If you were in the Blackrock-Booterstown area maybe you were in my class - there weren't all that many Sashas in those days!

My name is Sasha,female,not Russian. I do agree though that there a lot if dogs called Sasha.
