I'm quite surprised my late Dad's name has been mentioned.

I love Seraphina, just love it even though it's long, frilly and not my usual style of name at all. I also love Clementine and Evangeline.

In real life I had boys, and if I'd had girls they'd have had short, neat names like my boys do.

@schoolsoutforever

Just use the crazy names. I’ve taught kids with most of these names in a fairly non-bohemian city and it’s no big deal. My kids also have unusual names,. I’d much rather be ‘one name’ than ‘name no 3’.

This is a good thread. All of these are my "I wish" names. But I just couldn't do it for various reasons.

Girls: Ophelia; Juno; Coppelia; Wednesday

Boys: Heston; Grayson; Quentin

Ariadne. I have a strong Lancashire accent and a very common surname, it wouldn’t work.

Ptolemy for a bit as I love Tolly for a nickname.
