My DD is called Zelda so I obviously love the name. Sometimes people associate it with the game but I don't think it's a bad association.

We're not Jewish Hmm . But Zelda is also a Germanic name from Griselda and since I am Germanic I don't see why I shouldn't use it.

Reminds me of Terrahawks but I'm nearly 50 so those a little younger wouldnt have that connection

I like it, I think of Aunt Zelda from Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Legend of Zelda game. It goes nicely Rose

I think of aunt zelda from sabrina the teenaged witch. It definitely has a witch craft / spellbpund kind of feel to it for me. I love the name Rose as it is a traditional English name.

Zelda is a name of German origin though.

Zelig is the yiddish name.
What about Susan and Rachel and Miriam?

Depends if you subscribe to the idea that any one place can own a name, or at what point due to other usage it becomes public property, given the video game and it being a nickname for Griselda for example

When Zelda goes to school she won't hear the end of ocarinas and the like. Unless you're obsessed with the game,
or want everyone to think you are, I just wouldn't.
