I honestly love it, but DH has vetoed it for the same reason as yours.

I also love Casper, but again, vetoed. Stupid friendly ghost.

I know one who is 10 now. He's a lovely boy and suits his name... but I'm not a fan to be honest.
Seems a bit 'wet' to me (sorry!).
I prefer Casper.
