I love Romeo and wanted to use it but I do think it could lead to bullying. Sad

chloboe · 01/03/2022 14:22

Romeo! It has always been one of my favourite names for a little boy

Sfumato · 28/02/2022 10:47

Romeo, I meant.

Sfumato · 28/02/2022 10:47

Abramovich, Polanski, Roy? No. And I don’t care for Tomeo.

Matteo?

Foxglovesandlilacs86 · 28/02/2022 10:27

Oh I just love Romeo Smile

I do think it's quite a name to live up to though. I'm considering it for this one if it's a boy.

Roman is lovely but it is getting popular and depending where you live he might end up being one of many in his class.

Maximiliano nn Max - my fave Italian name 🇮🇹

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 23/02/2022 21:49

Giorgio
Matteo
Raffaele
Enzo
Orlando

itssquidstella · 23/02/2022 17:29

Roman

FolornLawn · 23/02/2022 17:25

I LOVE Francesco. I imagine long eyelashes and baggy sweaters.

caringcarer · 23/02/2022 17:18

My Roman is 15.

caringcarer · 23/02/2022 17:17

I have a Roman. He is kind and a talented cricketer.

StopForAMinute · 23/02/2022 17:11

Roman.

bloominglovelyorange · 23/02/2022 17:06

Meant to say none OVER the age of 2, sorry.

@Gigi97

Hm2020 · 23/02/2022 17:04

Roman

bloominglovelyorange · 23/02/2022 17:03

I know about 10 baby Roman's
But none under the age of 2
It's the fastest rising baby name at the moment and feels super trendy. It's sudden explosion in popularity would put me off, feels overused but is nice enough , I'd pick something else though

irishfarmer · 23/02/2022 14:14

I like the Italian names Marco, Giuliano and Alessandro

WhoppingBigBackside · 23/02/2022 13:17

Neither.

inmyslippers · 21/02/2022 20:35

I love Roman

User48751490 · 21/02/2022 20:31

A friend's nephew (Italian) has just been named Mario.

Sorry not a fan of Roman or Romeo.

RuthW · 21/02/2022 20:27

Roman

RubyRedRoses · 21/02/2022 10:25

Roman

inheritancetrack · 21/02/2022 10:19

Much prefer Francesco and Luca.

Gigi97 · 21/02/2022 10:14

Thank you all for the comments/feedback. I know Roman isn’t an Italian name, I just like the name. I mentioned baby boy was Italian cause of Romeo. I also really like the name Luca, however I can’t use it as one of my best friends has a son called Luca …

Personally, neither. Romeo is an Italian name but has too many connotations. Roman isn't an Italian name.
Personally I think there are nicer Italian names:
Luca
Marco
Raphael
Stefano
Alessandro
Matteo
Petro
Niccolo
Gabriele
Bruno Grin

This has some good suggestions:

Roman is better.

Romeo, no there will be endless jokes. Strangely the same thing cannot be said for Juliet
