We've narrowed our name list down to two but still can't decide which one to go for! The names are:

Daisy
Annabelle

Really like them both but I know they are very different. Thinking we'll see what she suits when she's born in a couple of weeks!

Just wondered which name people prefer?? Surname is Robinson.

I feel really mean posting thing but I have to do it! Has no one seen that horrible movie called Annabelle? It's about a murderous doll called Annabelle.. A bit like calling a boy Chucky 😬 Sorry! Love Daisy! Was me #3 name for our DD ❤️ sounds Amazing with Robinson too!

delshell · 01/03/2022 19:41

I much prefer Annabelle. I think it's prettier and I also like that there are more nn options.

I'm not personally a huge fan of Daisy but there's absolutely nothing wrong with it and definitely go for it if you like it!

chloboe · 01/03/2022 19:25

I love the name Daisy ... 💗

Lulukit · 23/02/2022 07:41

Thanks for your help! I think we are leaning more towards Daisy as it does seem to go better with our surname. Will still see if she suits it when she's born though! My husband quite likes Bella as a stand alone name too but I'm a bit unsure. It's so hard picking names! Our little boy is called Theo and we knew that was his name when he was born! Hoping it just comes to us like last time.

Daisy sounds best with your surname I think

TwirlyWhirly6 · 22/02/2022 13:24

Annabel Robinson reminds me of Ann Robinson (sorry!). Daisy Robinson has a lovely ring to it. I disagree about the whole ‘twee’, ‘cutesy’ thing. A name is what you make it. I wouldn’t call Daisy Lowe twee in the slightest.

emmathedilemma · 22/02/2022 13:01

Daisy is cute but it's a bit too cute for me so I'd go for Annabelle (although I prefer just Anna!)

RuthW · 22/02/2022 12:21

Annabelle

GreenWhiteViolet · 22/02/2022 09:44

Annabel Daisy Robinson is lovely.

With the spelling you have, though, like other posters I'd pick Daisy over Annabelle.

FlamingoDust · 22/02/2022 08:39

Daisy

DramaAlpaca · 20/02/2022 22:33

If you were spelling it Annabel that would be my choice.

Annabelle is way too frilly and fussy for me, so I'll say Daisy even though it's twee.

Emily6457 · 20/02/2022 22:26

Daisy is a beautiful name. Although I’m bias as I have a Daisy. She’s Daisy Mabel, which I think would be quite similar sounding to Daisy Annabelle. Sounds lovely.
I also love the name Belle, which I would definitely use as a nn if I had an Annabelle.
Good luck with your new arrival xx

Fivebeanchilli · 20/02/2022 22:14

Daisy.
I prefer Annabel to Annabelle but prefer Daisy to both.

sadpapercourtesan · 20/02/2022 21:54

Annabelle

sibbys · 20/02/2022 21:52

Daisy Robinson Daffodil

BlueFlavour · 20/02/2022 20:45

Prefer Annabelle. Know a very chic Annabel.

Annabel Daisy is a lovely name.

ISmellBurnings · 20/02/2022 20:37

Cutesy even.

ISmellBurnings · 20/02/2022 20:36

Annabelle, although prefer Annabel.

Daisy is too twee and cutsey.

AdaColeman · 20/02/2022 20:16

Daisy would be a lovely nn for Marguerite, a most beautiful name, and quite unusual.

Shainago · 20/02/2022 20:01

Both pretty names but I prefer Annabel

AntiHop · 20/02/2022 19:52

How about Margaret but use Daisy as a nickname? Daisy is a bit too cutsey for a proper name.

HettytheHoover · 20/02/2022 19:50

Love both but Daisy - there's a million of --bell and -bella ending names at the moment.

Luredbyapomegranate · 20/02/2022 19:47

Daisy is sweet but I’d prefer to be called Annabel as an adult

So Annabel Daisy Robinson ?

Don’t think you need the extra French spelling.

AdaColeman · 20/02/2022 19:45

Daisy all the way!

fleurpots · 20/02/2022 19:39

I like Annabelle but would spell it Annabel. Annabelle looks too long and frilly and like two names bunched together, Annabel looks like a name on its own.
