Luna is the one I like best.

Raine means 'Queen'. To many, it's still strongly associated with controversial socialite Raine Spencer (Lady Diana's stepmother, cruelly nicknamed 'Acid Raine') en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raine_Spencer,_Countess_Spencer

I agree with others that Blue is a colour, not a name.

Tate is a surname, so is Tatum. I'm not really a fan of surnames as first names, though I rather like them as second or third names, especially if there is a family connection.

So either Tate or Tatum might make a good middle name, perhaps? That would give your daughter a choice. If she grew up to share your love for the name, she could choose to use it.

'Luna Tate' or 'Luna Tatum' sound pleasantly original. Or even 'Luna Tatum Raine....'

Rosieposie101 · 20/02/2022 10:38

Raine

Mumofgirls2017 · 20/02/2022 07:20

Luna by a mile. It’s really pretty

garlictwist · 20/02/2022 04:31

Tate is a surname and rather masculine.

Raine isn't a word

Luna is a bit of the moment and makes me think of madness.

So none of them from me.

ElevenOG · 20/02/2022 04:28

I love Tatum!

How about Bloom?

CakesOfVersailles · 20/02/2022 04:14

Luna.

Elspethelf · 20/02/2022 03:56

Of these names, Luna is my fave x

deadlanguage · 19/02/2022 23:45

Tatum makes me think of Channing Tatum, not feminine at all. It’s a bit redneck.

arlarae1 · 19/02/2022 23:19

what would you guys think of tatum but tate for short! i really like tate for a girl (i know the singer tate mcrae is the new girl pop star) but no one else seems to like it?? x

Tate is a boys name.
Raine - unusual, makes me think of Princess Diana (her step-mother)
Luna - never been keen on this name, but seems popular,
Blue - never been popular on colours as names

Luredbyapomegranate · 19/02/2022 22:15

God, I never say this but I really don’t like any of them Op. Luna is loony, Raine just sounds like the back end of Lorraine, Blue is depressing and Tate is a boy’s name.

How about Lara, Lyra or Leila? Or Rose?

Thewindwhispers · 19/02/2022 20:10

Raine or Luna.

Please not Blue. They won’t use it and they’ll be annoyed with you about it. ā€œI’m Blueā€ means ā€œI’m miserableā€ why on earth would you give your child such a crap name?

Tate is a boys name.

DramaAlpaca · 19/02/2022 20:08

Raine is the best of a bunch that are not to my taste at all.

Luna isn't awful, but Tate and Blue really are, for either sex.

OhYeahyeahyeah · 19/02/2022 20:07

Raine

I really like Luna but it's very popular where I am!

ofwarren · 19/02/2022 20:05

Luna

Dreamingof3 · 19/02/2022 20:04

I'd choose Raine. Blue for me is now the dinosaur in jurassic world šŸ˜‚ love her. I'd have Tate for a boy and luna is really overdone around me and I know as many pet lunas as children

Candleabra · 19/02/2022 19:21

Raine
Does it go with your surname?

MrsToadflax · 19/02/2022 19:20

Raine, really not keen on the others.

Margo34 · 19/02/2022 19:20

Luna Blue

Fundays12 · 19/02/2022 19:18

Raine or Luna. I know a few boys under 10 called Tate so probably wouldn't. I just don't like Blue sorry

theotherfossilsister · 19/02/2022 19:18

Raine is really pretty

deadlanguage · 19/02/2022 19:17

Luna. Tate sounds like a boy, I don't like Raine and Blue doesn't sound like a name. Rain and blue are more like negative words to me, particularly blue (i.e. feeling blue) so I wouldn't choose either of those.

KylieCharlene · 19/02/2022 19:15

Luna.
I do like Tate but for a boy.

StrawberryLadybird · 19/02/2022 19:14

Definitley Luna.
