Which word would make a wonderful name?

There are some words which would make lovely names. My favourite is Obscenity. I think that would be delightful for a little girl. For some reason it has never caught on. Oblivious is nice for a boy. Has anyone else got any?

Oh I wish I could remember the troll who posted a name that sounded like a criminal? Was hilarious thread for the puns

Miscellany. I think it's such a beautiful sounding word.

Reverie or maybe Ingenue for girls - for some reason quite a few French words have a pretty "feminine" sound to me. In fact I think Reverie at least might be used as a (rare) name by English speakers as it has quite a nice meaning too.

I do secretly love Endeavour (like Morse) for boys too.

Mayonnaise is a beautiful name. All my dollies and my bike were called Mayonnaise

Such an inspiring thread.
I’m due my third set of triplets in April - GGB
I was struggling terribly for names, as once they arrive, I will have 9 under 3. So as you can imagine I’ve used all my favourites.

Children are currently:
Pecan, Rooster and sciatica (all girls)
Ramekin, clavicle and osmosis (GBB)
I’m almost certain that following this thread I’m going to go for Obscenity, Obesity and Oblivion for these little ones 😊
Thank you so much for the ideas xx

@EducatingArti

I want to know why Calculus is designated a boy's name. Rather stereotypical! I suppose Algebra might work well for a girl. Geometry could have nn Geo and Surd has a nice strong ring to it. Alex's twin sister is Index and their older brother is Tangent.
Because in Latin, most nouns ending in -us are masculine (e.g. servus) and most nouns ending in -a are feminine (e.g. puella).

This has carried through to all languages influenced by Latin, so that we all understand that Marcus is a male name, while Marina is female.
