Thoughts? Brother to Victoria.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Humphrey. The head in Ghosts is called Humphrey.

ProperVexed · 13/02/2022 20:15

Hugo is superb!
Humphrey is wet.
Hutch...would rather have Starsky.
Hunter...American...awful.

Luredbyapomegranate · 13/02/2022 20:12

@SausageRoll2020

Hugo is a nice name. Humphrey I'm not keen on but it's a name. Hutch is what a rabbit lives in.
Exactly
SpikeySmooth · 13/02/2022 18:25

The least worst is Hugo.

Humphrey is terrible.
Hunter is also terrible.

hellcatspangle · 13/02/2022 18:21

Hunter will just make people think of him out of gladiators (well people over a certain age anyway) Humphrey is pretty awful too. Hugo all the way.

WaitinginVain · 13/02/2022 18:06

Hugo is quite nice and goes best with Victoria.

I also quite like Hunter but it's a very different name.

I wouldn't usually comment to say something is awful but Humphrey is.

DuckonaBike · 13/02/2022 17:57

@riotlady

I like Hugo, but what’s it short for?
I remember that thread, it was very funny!

Hugoes there
Hugo your way and I’ll go mine

And many others that I have forgotten.

RandomUsernameHere · 13/02/2022 17:54

Hugo

turnaroundtime · 13/02/2022 17:48

Oh I see, Hunter not Hutch. Nah, too try hard. Humph is cool.

turnaroundtime · 13/02/2022 17:46

Hugo - too 1990s
Hutch - what a rabbit lives in
Prefer Humphrey

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/02/2022 17:32

I'm sorry but Hutch is truly awful, I mean think about it, would you want to grow up called Hutch?

I considered Humphrey when pregnant with dc2. I love it, but I realised that it would not be an easy name to grow up with so struck it off the list

Hugo is nice enough, just not my style. It sounds nice with Victoria

If you like H names have you considered

Henry
Henrik
Hendrix
Hewitt
Hollis

I agree with others:
I'm not keen on Hugo, but it would be ok
Hunter is too different in style to Victoria
Humphrey is a nice name for a young boy, but they might not like it when older
What about Henry or Hamish if you like 'H' names?

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 13/02/2022 16:49

@woodhill

Humphrey was in Hickory House - really showing my age
My Humphrey reference is Yes Minister.
TheAbbotOfUnreason · 13/02/2022 16:45

Humphrey - overweight elderly Labrador with a wind problem.

Hunter - always makes me think of Gladiators.

Hugo - definitely the best of the bunch.

Ncwinc · 13/02/2022 16:40

Hugo is great
Humphrey is ok
Hunter? No.

MinglingFlamingo · 13/02/2022 16:38

Oh hunter??? Errrr it's ok but still prefer Hugo and Humphrey

MinglingFlamingo · 13/02/2022 16:37

Hugo
Humphrey
Hutch- is awful please don't

CrackerGal · 13/02/2022 16:13

I like Hutch, never heard it before.

Soffit · 13/02/2022 16:11

Hutch .. oh go on, you suggested it yourself so you must like it!

woodhill · 13/02/2022 16:10

Humphrey was in Hickory House - really showing my age

GucciBear · 13/02/2022 16:10

Love Hugo. Quite like Humphrey. Hutch?? Are you expecting a child or a rabbit............................................

woodhill · 13/02/2022 16:09

Starsky

Hutch is a surname or where rabbits live

dizzydizzydizzy · 13/02/2022 16:07

Hugo or Humphrey - Out of the 2 I personally prefer Hugo but probably only because it sounds less old fashioned.

Hunter - hmmmm.... common surname. Sounds American as a first name

Hutch - lol!
