Baby name MIMI

After some honest opinions. I love the name Mimi, my husband likes it but as a nickname. I plan on calling her Mimi from day one, so is there any point giving her a different full name if that isn’t what she’s known by? Obviously both my husband and I do have to agree when it comes to names, so we are both after some outside input from people that won’t sugar coat the truth, so as not to upset us. Grin the only name I like that we could use to get Mimi as a nickname is Amelia. Any other suggestions welcome.
We are expecting our 3rd girl. Our daughters names are Hannah and Louisa.

Jemima is such a gorgeous name. Pretty and unusual, sweet for an infant and dignified enough for an adult. And Mimi is an adorable nickname for it.

Love it as a nick name for Miriam. Mimi is gorgeous but there are situations where I might prefer to say ''hello I'm Miriam''.

Go for Jemima or Miriam; they're a good fit for your other DDs' names and give a number of nickname options, Mimi included.

it is not a proper name.
don't give her a doll's name, or a pet's name.
give her the dignity of having a proper name.
anything else is mere vanity.

I’ve just suggested Jemima to my husband and he loves it! Can’t believe we didn’t think of it.
Do you think Hannah, Louisa and Jemima ‘go’ together? (Not that it’s a deal breaker!)

I know a Mia nicknamed Mimi. It's a cute nickname but I think it's a bit too cutesy and feel you're imagining it on your baby rather than a grown woman, which she will spend the majority of her life as. So I think you need to choose a name which can have the nickname Mimi.

I think Mariah Carey’s nickname is Mimi, OP - so it seems to work with any name starting with an M? Grin

I know two Mimis. One is short for Miriam, the other is officially a Charlotte but apparently spent so long shouting ‘Me, me’ as a toddler that it stuck.

She’s still rather self centred, so I don’t love it as a name.
