The names we chose for our DC are quite common so don’t and I wouldn’t expect them to but I grew up with regular (nice) comments about my name as it’s a bit unusual.

In particular interested for boys names as trying to think of one that’s quite safe but also a bit different!

It’s an unusual name without being weird or yoonique.

I'm sure your name is lovely but I would be wary of thinking that people commenting on a name means they like it. If someone ever tells me their child's name and it's unusual I feel like I need to say "oh that's lovely" or similar. A bit like if someone is wearing something really 'notable' and you feel it's rude not to acknowledge it with a nice comment about it, whether you think it's lovely or hideous.

Oddly enough Francis has been high in my thoughts as a good name but I don’t know any and keep feeling hesitant at every single name from overthinking them! Other thought so far was Hector

My girls name gets more compliments than my boy’s name but he still gets some. He’s Francis.
