Mine wouldn't, I don't think.

It's Belinda, but I go by variations of it. Was very popular in Australia in the 70's. But I can't remember the last time I heard of a baby named Belinda.

Do you have a nice timeless name or a dated one like mine?

(It's a Lucy/Emily/Amy/Katie/ type name)

@CraftMaker

Given that I was named after a Pokemon, probably not.
Interesting.

Mine would work and isn't unheard of now. It's fairly classic but seems dull to many ears (although others seem to consider it pretty, if naming boards are anything to go by). It had a boom in populatiry in the 80s and 90s so might seem a little dated now too, although I do know a couple of babies with this name. Along the lines of "Emily", but less popular today.

Nope, v 70s working class and not coming back any time soon. Though I wasn't yet born in the 70s and am not working class.

I think mine is pretty classic and works with all ages. It's Stella, I'm happy with it.

As per my name change, mine is awful. I never minded it growing up, I never thought much if it. But the rise of Miss Katona and a move to England mean I now hate the sound of it, although like the way it looks.
I don't know any little Welsh ones,but I did meet a toddler English version recently.

it would work yes,
it was old fashioned when i was in school, a name people's grandmothers had, but it has come back into fashion
