Sorry noooo!

SuperSocks · 29/01/2022 23:25

I do like Cal though!

SuperSocks · 29/01/2022 23:24

Ninth earl of Emsworth...

jackstini · 29/01/2022 23:22

My DS has Cal as a middle name, after DH's grandad who was Clarence

Clarence in full is tricky to pull off as a baby or little boy but maybe you could use Cal until he's older?

user1493494961 · 29/01/2022 23:06

Definitely the cross-eyed lion.

Lockdownbear · 29/01/2022 22:57

Sorry Op makes me think Clarance House !

Terence / Terry or Clark would be good alternatives, is Terry due a come back

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 29/01/2022 22:56

It's the name of the lovely angel in It's A Wonderful Life.

But it's not a name I'd give a child.

Viviennemary · 29/01/2022 22:54

Dreadful.

MissMaple82 · 29/01/2022 22:51

wingsofabird · 29/01/2022 22:50

A lovely name. Classic and unusual but familiar. Perfect.

fmac2987 · 29/01/2022 22:49

Wettest name I can think of... sorry 😞

ringoutthebells · 29/01/2022 22:47

True Romance! Great film.

Kitkat151 · 29/01/2022 22:46

A definate no....it’s really awful

Charley50 · 29/01/2022 22:45

It's a hard no from me.

duvetdayforeveryone · 29/01/2022 22:05

The only problem with Clarence is doesn't make a nickname. Maybe Larry at a stretch.

Tempusfudgeit · 29/01/2022 22:00

Robocop, unfortunately.

tearinghairout · 29/01/2022 21:50

Clarence was a cross-eyed lion! Also a Benny Hill character... But those were a long time ago.

HamCob · 29/01/2022 21:49

There's a popular American kids cartoon on Netflix called Clarence. Reminds me of that now unfortunately.
