Honest thoughts. Is it ridiculous? I really like the sound and look of it.

I like it, but it's associated so strongly with Auberon Waugh and his ancestors that I' d always go with the Oberon spelling. Also, around 90% of mumsnetters would probably describe my taste in names as "try-hard".

It’s a slightly different spelling and pronunciation to Oberon but honestly I don’t think it would work for a child
