Elliot

APileofLogs · 18/01/2022 15:21

Ivo is a great name. Elliot was the name of my dickhead ex (this may be less of an issue for you than for me Wink).

BettyBlue50 · 18/01/2022 15:20

Elliot!

getsanta · 18/01/2022 12:01

Elliot 100%

ElliotGoss · 18/01/2022 12:00

Ivo. Only ever met one.

4kinell · 18/01/2022 11:56

Ivo is much nicer

LavenderRosemary · 18/01/2022 10:56

Elliot

@piggie88

Which one do we go for?
Is it pronounced 'Ee-vo' or 'Eye-vo'?

Either way, Elliot's much better.

LittleGwyneth · 18/01/2022 10:50

I love Ivo.

HPLikecraft · 18/01/2022 10:39

I like both names, but am interested in how you'd pronounce Ivo... would it be ee-vo or eye-vo? I've come across both (prefer ee-vo personally)

BluebellsareBlue · 18/01/2022 09:19

Ivo? Noooo! Elliot is much better.

I feel it's like Hugo all over again

HeronLanyon · 18/01/2022 08:22

Elliott - Ivor better than Ivo to my ear.

SmallElephant · 18/01/2022 08:17

Elliot

DappledThings · 18/01/2022 08:14

Definitely Ivo. El(l)iot(t) always looks like a surname to me. DD would have had Ivo as a middle name if she was a boy.

Ceramide · 18/01/2022 08:13

Ivo

Totalwasteofpaper · 18/01/2022 07:47

Elliot

GuckGuckDoose · 18/01/2022 07:46

Ivo! Have only ever met one but have loved the name ever since.

Mumofgirls2017 · 18/01/2022 07:39

I love Ivo

Poundlick · 18/01/2022 07:14

Ivo. I agree with @IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads on the variants of Eliot/Elliott/Eliott etc.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 18/01/2022 07:12

Ivo

Elliot annoys me because every Elliot I know has a different combination of Ls and Ts!

TimmyNook · 18/01/2022 07:07

I would have said Elliot. One of my DC has it as a middle name. But I now know someone called Elliot who is an absolute bell end. And I hate my kid has the same name as them.

DropYourSword · 18/01/2022 07:06

Never heard of Ivo before! You might get people getting you to repeat it a lot. It also looks like an unfinished name to me!

BlueFlavour · 18/01/2022 07:05

Both lovely. Ivo wins.

LadyCluck · 18/01/2022 07:02

Elliot
