Me and my partner have been going back and forth of what we would call a baby girl if ever we have one,

Can you help us decide ?

I prefer Ava but Eve over Evie. I think Eve is beautiful and I'm not a fan of the idea of 36 year old Evie.

Personally, I prefer Evie

But I do wonder if you should go on to look at other options, only because if both of you can't decided neither are probably right.

We gave my daughter the only name we both agreed with really liked

Can't believe how hard it was to choose! There are so many lovely names out there but when it comes to picking just one it's difficult

Prefer Evie too. Think it flows better with your last name.
Also names are popular for a reason - because they are lovely! That shouldn't automatically be a reason to discard them.

I like Evie and I think it goes better with your surname.

P.s ignore the comments about them being popular, they are popular because they're lovely! It's utterly stupid to pick a name you like less just because it's 'different'.

Neither. There are millions of them! There are about 4 in my daughters nursery and about 50% of my friends have named their child either Evie or Ava
