Thoughts on this name for a baby boy? What do you think of when you hear the name Dominic?

It just makes me think of Dominic Cummings. But that should pass in time.

I really like it. I've only ever known lovely Dominics. I think it's quite a Catholic name, IME.

I really like it but DD always complained about a Dominic at her nursery so that puts me off!

It makes me think of my very lovely DS1. And he's never called Dom.

It's fine. Not exactly thrilling, but not objectively bad either. Brings to mind a boy at school who pushed me off a slide, but that's a rather niche reference.

Prefer Dom to Nic as a nickname but would try to stick with the just Dominic.

Lovely, I really like it.
It strikes me as a strong name. I also like Julius, Gabriel, Louis
My nephew is Dominic, has never become Dom.

I think 'Dom' is awful.

I like it. Assume you don’t mind them being called Dom for short. Or maybe Nick/Nicky
