Sorry I know I've posted about names a few times, husband and I still are still struggling to find the one!

Which of these do you like?

And any other similar suggestions??? (We like names that are a bit more unusual, we want her to stand to out and not have the same name as others in school)

Her big sisters name is Dakota😊

Zadie
Tegan / Teigan
Kendall
Kennedy
Azalea / Azalia
Shelbie / Shelby
Peyton
Paisley
Brinkley
Oakleigh
Waverley

Goldie and Honey are names for golden retrievers.

Teigan, Shelby and Payton I like.

BlueFlavour · 07/01/2022 10:06

I like Honey.
What about Savannah?

Flutterflybutterby · 07/01/2022 10:04

Zadie, Honey, Waverley. Everley?

EdgeOfACoin · 07/01/2022 10:00

Tegan or Azalea.

Synchrony · 07/01/2022 07:53

I'd choose Goldie from your list.
I don't mind Zadie or Azalea.
Not keen on the others but I do think Kendall and Oakleigh go well with Dakota.
Loathe Kennedy. It just makes me think of JFK or kidneys, not a little girl.

ColdShouldersWarmTummy · 07/01/2022 07:50

Zadie is really nice Smile

EasyLifer · 07/01/2022 06:25

I like Honey and don't mind Zadie but prefer Sadie. Not keen on any others, sorry.

Kanaloa · 07/01/2022 06:24

Also people don’t stand out based on their names. How many famous actors are there called Tom? None of them need to be called Zippie Calora to be famous - they’re famous because they’re handsome/charismatic/talented etc. Your child will stand out to her friends and loved ones because she’s Kendall with the big personality or Zadie who you can always talk to about your problems or Tegan who is amazing at maths and will probably go on to be a stem whiz. And whether she’s got a one of a kind name that you invented or she’s called Lily she will still stand out for those reasons.

For me I’d rather my kids stood out for those reasons than being called a name like Honey.

Kanaloa · 07/01/2022 06:21

I replied on your other thread but I think Kendall is nice and goes with Dakota. Also think Kennedy and Casey are nice and very wearable names.

I’m not keen on any of the others and would really dislike to be called Honey or Goldie. They’re more cat names than names for a real living woman who might be any type of person.

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 07/01/2022 06:19

How about Paloma?

Totalwasteofpaper · 07/01/2022 06:07

Zadie is the only one on that list I'd consider using.

Nononoah · 07/01/2022 06:03

Peyton

DotDotDotDotDot · 07/01/2022 05:56

I like Zadie from your list, but then I seem to like lots of Z names. Maybe Zoë, Zélie, Zara?
Surnames as first names are not my usual taste but I really like Everly, I think it goes well with Dakota.

foxgoosefinch · 07/01/2022 02:13

Oh and please don’t call the poor child Harlyn! It will make everyone think of Harlot!

If you like Bellamy (I agree with pp, too David) - what about Jessamy or Jessamyn?

foxgoosefinch · 07/01/2022 02:10

Zadie is the only one I like and it does go well. Kennedy also goes well with Dakota but it isn’t a name I’d pick. I like a pp’s suggestion of Nina. The others on the list sound a bit too dated-American to me - Peyton and Waverley make me think of 1980s TV-movie socialites with puffed sleeve cocktail dresses - sorry!

I met a little girl recently called Amadea - and thought that was a beautiful name! It would go really well with Dakota.

rmummyofone · 07/01/2022 02:07

I like honey :)

Rosa
Peony
Daphne
Sage
Blossom
Fiorella
Rosemary
Juniper
Dahlia
Lilah
Acacia
Violetta
Aurora
Fleur

I like very floraly names lol thought I'd drop my little list for anyone who may be interested anyway :)

MysticCT · 07/01/2022 02:06

I really like Peyton.

Hydrate · 07/01/2022 01:59

Honey for a middlename maybe.

Hydrate · 07/01/2022 01:57

My pick from your list is Tegan / Teigan.

Snugglybuggly · 07/01/2022 01:29

@viques

I think she will stand out for all the wrong reasons with most of those names, sorry. I quite like Zadie though.
Agreed... most of them are surnames
Pemba · 07/01/2022 01:04

Zadie is the only one I like. Tegan is OK I suppose. You have very different taste in names from me. Why so many place names?

LadyGAgain · 07/01/2022 01:01

Nina

KingofQueens · 07/01/2022 01:00

Zadie.

But as a curve ball, how about Indiana?
