Sorry I know I've posted about names a few times, husband and I still are still struggling to find the one!

Which of these do you like?

And any other similar suggestions??? (We like names that are a bit more unusual, we want her to stand to out and not have the same name as others in school)

Her big sisters name is Dakota😊

Zadie
Tegan / Teigan
Kendall
Kennedy
Azalea / Azalia
Shelbie / Shelby
Peyton
Paisley
Brinkley
Oakleigh
Waverley
Harlyn
Casey
Bellamy
Goldie
Honey

My dog is called Honey and I hate it- chosen by the breeder when she was returned to her at 8 months and we didn’t want to cause the do any more distress changing it.
Really sorry you list Is not my taste at all and the names are not unusual rather they are under used due to being particularly naff.

AliceMcK · 07/01/2022 20:43

Stand out or singled out? Surely it would be better for your child to stand out for her own reasons rather that she has an unusual name.

MaryChristmouse · 07/01/2022 20:31

Zadie is Ok.

I really dislike all the others though, not my style at all!

ofwarren · 07/01/2022 20:28

Zadie is the best on your list

WakeUpLockie · 07/01/2022 20:23

Waverley is written on all the bins round here, so I can’t get over that although I do like the sound of it.

Love Zadie!

somethingischasingme · 07/01/2022 20:21

What about Aubrey / Aubree?
I met my first little girl Aubree recently and thought it was lovely!

BiscuitLover3678 · 07/01/2022 20:17

Zadie, Teigen or Bellamy. They feel like a similar style but more workable. I’m afraid I’m not a fan of the others.

ladygindiva · 07/01/2022 19:45

For me it's
Zadie
Tegan
Shelby

What about Cassidy?

Hastina · 07/01/2022 19:44

Kendal ( with one L). Otherwise it sounds like Ken dorl.

Maireas · 07/01/2022 19:42

@Thehighlandcoo

Sadie from your list! What about:

Everly
Elodie
Ottilie

Everly? Like the brothers? I really like Ottilie.
Buzzer3555 · 07/01/2022 19:40

@kanola i agree

Buzzer3555 · 07/01/2022 19:38

Honey and Goldie sounds like a dogs name (or a goldfish) they all sound a bit try hard.

Thehighlandcoo · 07/01/2022 19:32

Love Zadie and Honey is also cute. My favourite is probably Azalia - it sounds super trendy but is actually traditional Hebrew.

TenThousandSpoons · 07/01/2022 18:05

Zadie is lovely. Or how about Sadie?

LavenderRosemary · 07/01/2022 18:03

I love Zadie!

SilverPolarBear · 07/01/2022 17:47

Zadie is really cool as PP said.

To be honest I am not keen on any of the others. They come across a bit made up.

Tal45 · 07/01/2022 17:43

The all sound very American soap to me - although I guess that makes sense when you've already got a Dakota. Goldie and Honey are dog names surely? Zadie and Tegan are best but I prefer Sadie over Zadie

MoominMeggy · 07/01/2022 17:35

Zadie is nice. Azalea is ok-ish. I really dislike the others and am finding it hard to suggest alternatives, as I think our tastes are quite different. Robyn?

Crankley · 07/01/2022 17:32

Desperately try hard, don't really like any of them and some of them are completely ridiculous.

Firesidefox · 07/01/2022 15:42

All terrible names that will blight the poor child, IMO.

But you do you. I'm sure you'd hate my children's names and that's how life is!

user1493494961 · 07/01/2022 15:39

I think Zadie is the only useable one.

emmathedilemma · 07/01/2022 15:25

Zadie or Casey are the only ones I'd even consider from that list.
No one who's ever been to Paisley would ever name a child after it and did you know Waverley is the main railway station in Edinburgh?

saywhatwhatnow · 07/01/2022 13:57

Goldie or Honey. Don't really like any of the others.
