Awful, as is Trinity

MySaladDaysAreGone · 05/01/2022 19:31

Fab name!

ladygindiva · 05/01/2022 19:31

I really love it, was on my list but rejected by dp.

Justkeeppedaling · 05/01/2022 19:22

I always think "bodice".

DramaAlpaca · 05/01/2022 19:21

I really don't like it but it has an unpleasant association for me which probably colours my view.

I love Libby though, lovely name.

@WWDD

I know a Liberty who is a massive dick so that puts me off. Even so, I don't really like it.
It's actually not a hugely popular name in the States

Absolutely love it. Strong contender if I ever have a dd. Dh would probably veto.

ofwarren · 05/01/2022 19:07

I'm not usually a fan of American sounding names but I actually like this one!

LavenderRosemary · 05/01/2022 19:06

I love Liberty and really like Libby too.

BiscuitLover3678 · 05/01/2022 19:05

My thought was more dark hair Guardian reader faux hippy type

BiscuitLover3678 · 05/01/2022 19:05

@Ruthietuthie

You're American. You live in Utah. You voted for Trump. Not my cup of tea.
I thought the absolute opposite! I’d never see it as a Trump type name. They’re not smart enough, it would be Freedom Grin

Gives me star spangled banner vibes, not in a good way.

Buzzer3555 · 05/01/2022 19:02

Lovely name

I absolutely love Liberty its gorgeous. Works well down to Libby too, its just lovely.

Bedknobsnbroomstix · 05/01/2022 18:46

I really like it! Did add to my list but was slightly put off my Liberty on Love island last year (she was lovely but thought it may now be a bit gimmicky I suppose with her being on TV/promos/deals etc)

SummaLuvin · 05/01/2022 18:41

I start singing "from sea to shining sea, like lady liberty..." in my head when I hear it. I neither love or hate the name, but I really like Libby.

wingsofabird · 05/01/2022 18:29

Great name, love it

Splashinginpuddles15 · 05/01/2022 18:08

I teach a girl called Liberty . She never shortens it and I think it is a lovely name .

Eileen101 · 05/01/2022 17:56

Not my cup of tea, but if I heard it as a name, I wouldn't think "how strange!"

FocacciaFingerer · 05/01/2022 17:55

I like it
Also like Trinity

DemBonesDemBones · 05/01/2022 17:54
