I have a teen "Phoebe", usually called "Phoebes".

Just to warn you that a surprisingly large number of people can't spell it properly.

I know two Phoebe Roses already, FGS don't choose rose it's every little girls middle name at the moment, ditto May and Grace from a few years ago.

She's in high school and we've only come across a couple more, so she likes that she's not one of many.

Middle name should be 3 syllables to work best with Phoebe I think.

Just an afterthought, I’d be wary of middle names starting with vowels for Phoebe such as Phoebe Isabel. If your surname starts with a ‘G’ she becomes ‘PIG’ etc.

My DH wouldn’t let me have this one either and I’m still cross at him! I love the Greek mythology connection, the ‘bright’ meaning and think it’s a sweet but strong name that suits all ages. Thumbs up from me.

Not keen, it will always make me picture Phoebe from friends, but later generations may not have that association.

We are actually considering Melita for a middle name (pronounced Muh-lee-tah) which was my nans middle name and I like it very much

It's a sweet name, I probably wouldn't use myself but do like it. Do you like Jennifer or Penelope as they are a bit similar?
