Amazing names from your family tree

Following a conversation at work today.

I had an (great great ?) Aunty Ceinwen. Much further back on the family tree we found a Rosina, which I thought was rather pretty.

A colleague recently discovered he had a distant cousin with the first name Macdara, which is apparently a local Irish saint, and means Son of Oak!

Any cool or unusual names from way back in your family tree?

I have several people called Ozias in my family tree. One of them was my great, great, great grandfather.

My mum had an aunt Mafeking. The siege of Mafeking (in South Africa) was going on at the time in 1900 but she was born in London to a London family! Mum always felt sorry for her.

There’s a Philomena which I love! And Kathleen features quite a lot in our family tree, and it’s my middle name.

@OneWildNightWithJBJ I think Rosina must have been popular at one time. It's also the name of a character in Poldark!

My dad found a few ladies called Alima in our family tree, and he's not sure why, he hasn't found any traces of the name elsewhere

One my maternal grandmother's side there were a lot of sailors and they had a tradition of giving boys the middle name Nelson and a first name beginning with A (for Admiral), so Arthur Nelson D , Alfred Nelson D , which I thought was a rather cool tradition.
