Alfred and William. DH had a Frank, not sure about the other one. My grandfathers were both known by an abbreviated form of their last names, rather than their first names, so I grew up not knowing their names. Apparently quite common in those days.

Because I'm looking for boy's names? Plenty of people seemed to have enjoyed answering.

I think it's the general lack of any interaction whatsoever that prompts people to question it OP. It looks like data harvesting.
