Is my name choice too similar to my friend's?

Hi everyone,
I am 31 weeks pregnant and really like the name Martha for a girl. However, a friend within my circle of friends already has a daughter called Margot.
Do you think these names are too similar? The last thing I want is for there to be any bad feeling surrounding my babys name.
I really do love Martha but would probably scrap it if most people thought it was too similar.

I don’t like Martha because it reminds me of the biblical kitchen drudge/handmaids tale, but lots of people do!

Martha is just gorgeous
I know cousins called Leo and Leon-nobody batted an eyelid-Martha and Margot are so different-they have the M in common but that’s about it

Too close for sisters but fine for any other relation. Also you say a friend within your friendship circle rather than a close friend of yours. For that kind of relationship using the exact name that she used wouldn’t bother me.
