Can I get away with DAMM initials?

DH and I have finally agreed on name for DD2 but realised initials will be DAMM! Is that really awful?

My son has unfortunate initials but we’ve never had cause to write them out in full. It really doesn’t matter. Plus DAMM is not that bad.

Depends. Is the M part of a double-barelled surname or a second middle name?

The M's are surnames so can't change. I don't think I would mind DAMM personally as an adult now, but I don't know how a child would feel. And what will the judgemental relatives and friends think!!

It's not ideal! Can you switch the middle names?
