Juliette was missed!

Juliette is 49 and owns her own coffee/ gift shop in the lanes, Brighton.
She has worked there for 20 years and even though her shop is tiny she makes an absolute killing.
She employs part time staff and runs the business like a well oiled machine.
Coffee is £3.95 - £4.40 and people don’t seem to mind paying for it.
She knows most of the shopkeepers nearby and they are like friends & colleagues to her.
Juliette lives with Norman (45) in a 3 story townhouse in Hove. Norm is a (so far unpublished) writer.

Laurie is a pole dancer at a strip bar in the bronx New York where she works weekends. She is a single mum to a wonderful little boy called Leon, she's had it tough over the years but she's now studying part time to become a nurse and has almost finished her course. She's also just picked more hours up in a department store as a Xmas temp a couple of days a week. She's working on building up a relationship with a long lost half sister who's the complete opposite but they're making progress. Her name is Juilette.

‘Anni’ is 45 and is an Art technician at the University. She is actually called Angela but keeps that to herself.
‘Anni’ is edgier.

Anni studied Fine Art at Huddersfield. She is a bit of a lost soul but enjoys her job and the regular income.
She has been there along time and has realised that every year the work churned out is one big cliche. Every student thinks they’re the ‘first’ to think of an idea...
Once in a blue moon someone will do something different and original.
Anni wants to live in Morocco but has yet to make it there on holiday.

Wren is having a hard time. She's 9 and attends a small rural primary school. Her parents chose the school because they felt it would be nurturing. The reality though is it's so small that there is no one else quite like Wren there. She's super bright (her parents have poured a lot of energy into early reading and giving her experiences which augment the curriculum). They've also given her an unshakable belief in her abilities. Which unfortunately doesn't chime well with the other kids at the school. As a result Wren often finds herself on the outside of things in the playground, and doesn't get as many party invitations as other children. Even the teachers find her and her family a bit annoying (no they can't do extension work because they're too busy trying to get many of their pupils off the starting blocks)
She doesnt moan about it though because her mum and dad continue to Instill in her the belief that she IS special and one day everyone will see that.

Elsie is a lovely Grandma who dotes on her family. Sadly her husband Gerald passed away some years ago, and she never met anyone else out of choice. She's lived in Harrogate all of her life and is partial to a Betty's and likes to take her teenage grandkids there for a coffee and cake on their birthdays. She's fiercely independent and says things like "the only way I'll be leaving this house is in a wooden box!"

Farhan is 18 years old.

His Great-Grandparents came to England from India in the 1950s along with his Grandparents who were at the time still children themselves.

His Great-Grandfather was a doctor and was one of many Commonwealth nationals at the time recruited by the U.K. to meet the demand for medical professionals that resulted from the establishment of the National Health Service (NHS).

Farhan is proud of his Indian heritage and visits the few remaining relatives he has in India every year with his family.

Phillipa - Phil to her friends - is 36, medium height, dark blonde hair with subtle lowlights. She's always worn very little makeup, often just mascara and a touch of powder as she has very clear skin and a naturally healthy glow.

Always smiling, Phil lives for her three dogs - two Springer spaniels and a rescue greyhound.

Although she probably owns other shoes, Phil almost exclusively wears wellies, often her husband's, since she is usually in a rush to leave the house, and too busy checking she has packed dog treats, poo bags and a spare lead, to look at what she is putting on her feet.

Phil has been married to Dominic, an IT developer, since her early twenties, having met him in Fresher's week at St Andrew's.

Phil works in publishing, and despite her apparently slightly scatty exterior, can spot a bestseller at 300 paces; as a result, she is extremely highly regarded in her industry and can dictate her working hours and has an excellent work-life balance, working mostly from home, in the Cotswolds, unless she fancies a trip to town. Often she will arrange to see a play at the National if she's in town on business - always with James, her dearest friend of many years, as Dominic dislikes the theatre intensely (he would rather go to a real ale pub and sit by a fire doing the crossword, but Phil finds this tedious).

Secretly, Phil dreams of getting a face tattoo and buying a motorbike.

Rio is 24 and working as a barman for a while in New York City before he goes backpacking around Europe. He has a great facial structure and jet black hair that is swept to the side... amazing big brown eyes. He is on the shorter side height wise...maybe 5'6? He is close to his granny! Loves food!!

Leona is fifteen years old, has olive skin and dark hair. She skives school and gets in to fights. She's stolen a phone or two. She has a good heart but a poor home life.

Rio

Ryan is a semi pro boxer. He's 26 and has boxed since he was 5. He's in very fit shape. Dark hair, blue eyes and just shy of 6ft. He doesn't drink or smoke but he's still quite a lads lad and likes to party! He met his glamour model fiancé Amie through a boxing match when she was a ring girl. Her sister is Leona.

Margorie is 75 years old, has been married many years to her husband Brian and lives in a perfectly kept semi-detached bungalow. She has two Lhasa Apsos and enjoys a cruise every year.

Dominic is a Dentist he is 42 and is Fascinated by Teeth he has been doing it so long he could perform a filling or root Canal with his eyes closed he is married to Tara 32 they have Triplets 3 Boys Luca,Able and Bran they are 2 months old and an old dog called Snoopy they like in Cambridge

Xander used to be Alex, but decided Xander was more quirky when he went to 'uni' to do media studies. He currently works in a pretentious cocktail bar in Gloucester, wears inadvisably lurid shirts and has a pug called 'Pugsley', which (only) he thinks is hilarious... He is, unsurprisingly, single.

Craig is the chisel-jawed, tall dark man in the IT department. E could be anywhere between 30'and 50. Authoritative when it comes to troubleshooting issues at work, and considered a bonhomous good guy by colleagues, he's actually rather shy. Currently single, he despairs of ever meeting a kind, normal woman.

Georgia is a doe-eyed art history graduate. She's tried and tried to get a job in the art world. Christie's would be spectacular. But even a local gallery would do. Sadly for Georgia her middle class credentials aren't quite good enough and all the jobs get snapped up by young women entering the business via unpaid internships. They can afford not to work due to mum and dad's money. Georgia's parents made their money selling cars and although any rough family edges have been smoothed off Georgia her (sensible in my view) family haven't thought to offer to support her.
So Georgia has found herself selling posh ready meals to bijou delis across the south of England.
She'll be ok. She quite likes her job, and she's good at it. Must be the genes. She may end up selling something much more interesting...

Janice is 47 but still refers to herself as being in her early 40s.
She has her hair coloured and highlighted at the trendy salon in town even though she much rather use the local one in her village.
She's friendly but can have an edge and loves a bitchy conversation whenever the chance arises.
She is on the pta which is secretly enjoys but outwardly will eye roll about the naffness of it all.
She's on her second marriage and very much in love.
