My DH and I have very different naming taste, I like names like Clementine he likes names like Jennifer (as an example).
We’ve got a small crossover of names we both quite like and looking for peoples thoughts or some suggestions that seem similar. (DH is welsh but we live in Yorkshire)

Ffion is lovely.

Stephanie is nice but very 80s. Imogen is fine but not to my personal taste.

Angharad is lovely but tricky in England. I used to work with one and so many people pronounced it Ann-harrod or Anger-ad.

Love Ffion and Imogen. I think Stephanie is quite dated and would become Steph which I don't like at all.

Love love love Angharad. Is it difficult to pronounce? Surely you just say it as you see it - Ang Ha Rad. (Disclaimer - I am Welsh).

Also think Manon is a beautiful Welsh name. Easy to pronounce too!

I really like Ffion. I feel like it's well known enough in England that pronunciation won't be an issue (spelling might though). Stephanie feels very 80s to me, and Imogen is very popular and quite dull. I don't like Angharad, I think spelling and pronunciation would be an issue in England and the name just sounds harsh and a bit clunky. You seem to like non-frilly names, without a endings, so here are some others that fit that.

@Autumnpenguin I have no clue how to go about pronouncing Angharah (ange-hard-a)?
I like Stephanie though and see nothing wrong with the nn Steph. I don't have any Welsh suggestions, although if you had of asked me a few months ago after watching hinerland I might have, loads of lovely Welsh names on that show.

It's not a 'weird spelling'. It's Welsh. Educate yourself.

I think they are all “ok”. Imogen is very popular where I live, but mostly older girls so maybe rarer in recent years. Stephanie always ends up as Steph which is ok but I don’t love it. Ffion isn’t bad, not my cup of tea but I see why people like it sums up my exact feelings.

Do you like Anneka? Feels somehow similar to Jenifer and Stephanie but a bit underused.
