Agree with you, I wonder if it's specific to the Mumsnet demographic that a lot of the faves mentioned on this thread could be considered classics. But then many of the most traditional boys names ...are gradually declining in popularity. With the exception of George and Henry it seems that many of most timeless names are dropping down as a lot of people seem to want something "different" than the past generation or two.

But then doesn't that make a traditional name something different?? @IamnotwhouthinkIam
