stupiduser · 13/11/2021 19:24

Tallulah, we know one called Tula

SleafordSods · 13/11/2021 18:40

Out of the two it would be Scarlett by a mile. I just can't imagine being taken seriouly as an adult being called Tallulah.

thewhatsit · 13/11/2021 18:34

I really don’t think it matters much how they sound with the middle name. Surname matters. I’ve said my “Firstname Surname” thousands of times in my life.

Which sounds better with your surname?

DramaAlpaca · 13/11/2021 18:06

Scarlett. Not to my taste, but fine.

Not Tallulah, just never. Dreadful name.

FASDE1517 · 13/11/2021 07:50

I've got three Scarlett's in my class of 30 this year so that would put me off. Tallulah doesn't flow brilliantly with Ann but they're both lovely names.

InTheLabyrinth · 13/11/2021 07:35

Scarlet.
The ending of Talluah gets swallowed into the start of Ann, or you get an Ah-Ah in the middle.

AlwaysLatte · 13/11/2021 07:32

Scarlett, especially as Tallulah would probably just get called Lulu.

EnidFrighten · 13/11/2021 07:31

Scarlett. Tallulah sounds like a can-can
dancer!

GoodnightGrandma · 13/11/2021 07:27

Scarlett

rainbowstardrops · 13/11/2021 07:27

Tallulah. I love the nn Tilly. Not keen on Scarlet

Awrite · 13/11/2021 07:06

Definitely Scarlett Ann.

BeKindBeYou · 13/11/2021 07:02

Scarlett Ann

SnowdropFox · 11/11/2021 14:00

Scarlett, I just can't take Tallulah seriously.

FreeBritnee · 11/11/2021 13:59

With my red skin Scarlett would have been my worst nightmare, so I’m going to have to say Tallulah.

GoingBackTo505 · 11/11/2021 13:45

Tallulah by a long shot. Scarlett is quite boring (to me) and Tallulah has so many more nicknames and feels much more fun to me.

Classica · 11/11/2021 13:41

Tallulah has better nickname potential though.

Classica · 11/11/2021 13:40

I'd rather be called Scarlett. I don't dislike Tallulah but I feel like people would have expectations of some extrovert, razzle dazzle, glamourpuss. And I'm only an extrovert, razzle dazzle, glamourpuss on special occasions.

Riverlee · 11/11/2021 13:37

I’d choose Tallulah (nn Tally)

Shasha17 · 11/11/2021 13:36

Love both! I'd choose Tallulah as less popular

pilates · 11/11/2021 10:31

Scarlett

Fifthtimelucky · 11/11/2021 08:39

I don't much like either but I think the danger with Tallulah that the two names will run together and sound like Tallula Ran. Similarly of course, Scarlett Ann will sound like Scarla Tan, which is a bit too close to charlatan for my liking!

KirstenBlest · 11/11/2021 08:34

I'd use Ann as the first name

Tallulah is nice but is too frilly
Scarlett is ok

Chunkymenrock · 11/11/2021 01:21

Scarlet is a nicer name. It sounds much better with Ann too.

SammyScrounge · 11/11/2021 01:13

Scarlett.
Tallulah is used sometimes in irritation to tick off a child, as in:
' Right, Tallulah, lights out. Time you were asleep'
