Elliot or Elliott

So it's the only name we can both agree on at the moment. Not 100% sold. But can't agree on how it should be spelt. I think a double T. Husband thinks only 1.

What's the general verdict?

Single t.

Definitely single t

Love the name Elliot -much prefer single t at the end.

Definitely with one t. It just looks so much nicer and less like a surname.

samesign · 07/11/2021 22:21

Double T

Just one /t/ looks better for a first name.

Elliott is more usually the surname, I think.
