Which of these names do you prefer? Long time to decide and maybe something better will come up but in the meantime these are the top two. Are there other names that would work in France and the UK?

Sophie is a classic name going back generations in my family. It's lovely. I know an adult Amelia and she absolutely hates her name. Finds it childish.

Sophie is a beautiful name, I'm biased my dd is Sophie.

I prefer Amelie but both are very common.

They're both alright.

Other names that work well are Anna, Cleo, Daphne, Emilie, Augustine, Zoe, Juliette, Julia, Yara, Tara, Nina, Marianne, Nathalie, Stéphanie, Lucie, Rebecca, Mauricette, Margot, Stella, Celia

Coralie?

Sophie

Know too many Amelies already.

How about Camille or Aurelie?

Sophie is timeless and classic. I know a lot of Amelies born in recent years and Amelia is very common now too. I’m not a fan.

Eloise and Anaiis are lovely
