Hannah, Emily or Charlotte

We’re trying to narrow down our girls choices and these are the current front runners. Which would you choose (and/or what else might we like?)

We do like Sophie and Katherine (nn Katie) too but already have both in the family. Surname is long and starts with a W.

Ah thanks everyone, nice to see lots of comments about them being lovely names as I do love them all! I think Hannah is in the lead here and in my head too: I agree it’s the least used whilst still being quite classic and I like that.

I love all of your names, you have great taste. Smile Alice might be another one to throw into the mix as it sort of seem to fit. As does my dd's name but I can't say it on here.Wink

Emily & Charlotte are really popular here and have been for years - know multiple children with those names from babies to young adults.

Hannah was popular 15 or 16 years ago, for quite a while, 4 or 5 in my elder daughter's year group but haven't heard of many Hannahs in recent years.

Choose the one you like the shortened version of as invariably most names are shortened.

Initials would be EW if using Emily, was my only thought. Appreciate you might have middle names in there but when she grows up people may just use EW, for all sorts of things.

Otherwise, all lovely classic names. I happen to love the multiple abbreviations of Charlotte and I’m a fan of names with nickname potential, having being handed one that has absolutely zero.

They're all lovely. Charlotte is probably my favourite. Emily is lovely. I prefer Anna to Hannah.
Do you like Elizabeth? I love Catherine, one of my favourite names. Also Eleanor.
