I have a boy due in the next couple of days and Chester is on my list to name him. Bradley is the middle name the surname is Webb. Does the name flow well? What are your thoughts?

Sounds to me like a 1920s cricketer but nothing intrinsically wrong with it.

Chester Webb? Spiders have been busy...

Delilah37 · 29/10/2021 03:59

Chester drawers - that’s the child in me!

But actually, I like Chester as a first name.

Jerrysgonnabeacableboy · 29/10/2021 03:39

It's a perfectly respectable and okay name. If you like it then use it!

Emmgrem · 29/10/2021 00:18

I like Chester and think you can get away with Chester Webb, I think it's Bradley as a middle name that makes it sound a little odd as like people said they could easily be three surnames.. I would either change the middle name or add a second middle name like someone else has suggested

Marcwebb87523 · 29/10/2021 00:09

It is a name that I thought would be unique and not used so much. That's why I chose it.

Is there any particular reason you've chosen Chester?

MinesAPintOfTea · 29/10/2021 00:01

Three surnames!

BaggingAria · 28/10/2021 23:59

Chester Oliver Bradley Webb would be better if he arrives on Sunday.

PiesNotGuys · 28/10/2021 23:57

C b webb = Cobweb

Viviennemary · 28/10/2021 23:57

I agree that it sounds like a nice reliable old school firm of accountants or solicitors. Back to the drawing board with this one I think.,

WineIsMyCarb · 28/10/2021 23:53

Do you live in Chester? Personally not keen on naming people after places.
Brad Webb is ok.

dresstokillmytime · 28/10/2021 23:53

Really not keen on Chester.

DameCelia · 28/10/2021 23:52

It flows better as Bradley Chester Webb.
But still sounds a bit like a firm of accounts! Sorry @Marcwebb87523 😳
I think it's having two two syllable first names that could easily be surnames.
