Good list - I like quite a few, especially the vintage and Scandi inspired ones. Favourites are Frida, Sylvia and Marin/Maren. We considered all of these for DD. Also like Eleanor and Beatrice.

I dislike Posy, Maisie and Mollie (though Molly is better) - too cutesy and insubstantial for me. Enid I find harsh, Florence is nice but overdone, and I agree about the unpleasant associations for Ophelia and Delilah (plus they’re a bit fussy and frilly for my taste).

Josephine - posy could be used as a nickname, or Josie, fifi

Beatrice
Imogen
Polly

Ophelia and Delilah are pretty sounding names but have pretty awful connotations in Hamlet and the Bible. I know one of each and am always amazed that the names are used to be honest.

Some lovely names there! I really like the following:

Polly
Etta
Mollie
Enid
Florence

Imogen
I have a hatred for Posy - it sounds very wet

That's quite the list OP; you're likely to get as many different responses as there are names on it. My own daughter's name is there, plus several we considered (and equally, a few I really dislike).

I love and considered:
Maud/Maude
Enid
Imogen
Frida

And have a soft spot for:
Polly
Posy
Maren/Marin
Eleanor
Molly (but only spelled like this)
Beatrice

The others aren't to my taste, but that's not important. What do YOU like? Do you want something well-liked or are you ok with a marmite name? How important is popularity, what goes with your surname, what does DP think, etc?

Florence

I love Imogen, one of my favourite girl names. I prefer Sylvie to Sylvia. Least favourites are Beatrice and Maud but that’s just personal taste. Good luck.
