Absolutely loathe Polly, Frida, Maeve, Imogen, Etta, Merle and Maud.

Some of the others I like, just not as much. Some like Polly, Posy, Mollie are traditionally nicknames and I still think of them as nicknames.

I agree that Elva sounds like vulva!

Imogen - fine but I don't like Immy

Etta - Ate a what?

Enid - the original Welsh pronunciation (Enn-id) is lovely, ee-nid isn't
Posy - too twee
Beatrice - ok
Merle - not a favourite
Maud - like
Madeline - ok but will be Maddie
Maisie -mouse
Ophelia - Feel your what?
Elva - baby eel
Maren - like Karen but with an M
Florence - ok but not a favourite
Eleanor - ok but boring
Marin - looks like Martin
