What do you think would work best……

Xavi or Bodhi?

Happy to have other suggestions fired this way as not found any name we love yet. Also quite like names like Noah and Finn.

Bodhi seems really common. I know Xavier in the French term and a few people shortened to Xav orXavi.

What about Grayson or Cornelius?

Gabriel
Casper
Lysander

Bodhi means something in Gaelic too (not sure what).

IVflytrap · 15/10/2021 19:55

I would go with Xavier pronounced the French way, nicknamed Xavi (Zavi).

I wouldn't use Bodhi unless you were Buddhist. I've seen it suggested that non-Buddhists using it is insensitive, as it's a deeply religious term. How about Brodie?

rubyandbel · 15/10/2021 18:06

Bodhi sounds better

I know someone with those names and the sibling is Jasper.

YearsSinceISawYou · 15/10/2021 17:48

You might but those who know how to pronounce it will say, chavvy.

3babessoon · 15/10/2021 14:19

We’d pronounce it Zavi

I think Bodhi would go very well!

DynastyBarry · 15/10/2021 13:21

Xavi is pronounced Chavi - I wouldn't
Bodhi is ok if he has a mate called Doyle

EileenGC · 15/10/2021 13:19

I thought Alexander before reading your options.

Of those two, I prefer Xavi. But how are you pronouncing it? It’s a Catalan/Valencian shortening for Xavier and pronounced ‘chavvy’.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 15/10/2021 13:17

How about Xavier - Xavi for short?

I also like Innes, Oliver, Dominic and Ruaridh (pr. Rory).
