What do you think would work best……

Xavi or Bodhi?

Happy to have other suggestions fired this way as not found any name we love yet. Also quite like names like Noah and Finn.

Although, thinking about it, Xavier too has a very different vibe to India and Rafferty so doesn't really 'go'

Lesina · 17/10/2021 00:44

Dave. That’s the one you want.

Balonzette · 17/10/2021 00:44

I don't think either go at all. Bodhi is a bit ... I know we can't say chavvy, but I'm not sure what the alternative politically correct version is Blush

Xavi seems like a nickname.

Xavier, on the other hand, is lovely.

Duxiejhrhrvjz · 17/10/2021 00:39

Elias? X

Pineapplepyjamas · 17/10/2021 00:31

What about Javier, shortened to Javi? (Pronunciation Havi). Xavi is lovely but it will not go down well in the uk..:

Pineapplepyjamas · 17/10/2021 00:30

Unless you have a reason to pronounce Xavi as Zavi I don’t think you should use it. It’s one of my favourite names too, but based on my Catalan background- and I’d pronounce it chavvy

Elspethelf · 17/10/2021 00:26

You are braver than me with names and I love it! Other names I LOVE but are not brave enough to use are Banks, Mars and Oxford (nn Ox). Of the names you listed, I think I like Bodhi best :)

CrystalMaisie · 16/10/2021 23:38

Before I opened the thread and saw the choices, my head was saying Bailey. So Bodhi not far off. Xavi sounds too similar to Rafferty, especially if his nickname were to become Raffi.

Suspicioussam · 16/10/2021 20:27

I love all your names. Bodhi is my favourite but Xavi is lovely too. I've never actually heard Xavi as a full name, only Xavier. I prefer Xavi.

First name that came to mind was Blake. India, Rafferty and Blake.

bangwhistle · 15/10/2021 20:15

Is your Rafferty as Raffi? The reason I ask is that I beamed my third Rufus and although I really like the name I curse it every time I try and say Rafferty and Rufus because inevitably my tongue trips over them. I'd say if the two Bodhi would be less problematic but just have a think about how tongue twisty it might be saying those two words together for all eternity!

Hermanfromguesswho · 15/10/2021 20:10

Xander? Cosmo?
