I think Lucas would work better than Luca - much more classic.

Oliver as the first name would be OK.

I know how you feel. We chose a lovely name for our daughter. When she was born it didn't quite suit. Felt silly as registrar had been in hospital registering births. But I spoke to priest about baptism, he told me whatever she was baptised we could change on birth certificate up to 1 year. Wait and see - your boy 'will look like' one of your favourite combinations. He may even look like a completely different name.

Prefer Zachary Oliver. We have an Imogen Mary and I’ve just had my second daughter - if she was a boy she would have been Hugo or Rowan (I noticed you mentioned that you mentioned Luca was a bit too modern/trendy in relation to Imogen, which is a more classic name). We also had Tristan, Rupert, Rueben & Fraser on our list for boys (possibly food for thought)! Good luck in choosing ☺️

If you are not sure, please don’t go with Luca. I know it’s stressful and you just want to decide but you don’t want to end up in my situation where I went with something as I was panicking. We were going round in circles too and I went with the option my husband preferred as I just wanted done with it. It’s has been bothering me ever since and has really affected my first few months with my new baby :(. Think on. You have plenty of time. Call him one for a few days then call him the other one and see which one feels right.

We are stilll so stuck in started to really stress now he won't ever have a name!

I like Archie Luca
Partner set on Luca as first name I like it but not sure enough for first name.

We can't have Oliver as our dog is Olly which is why middle name option as love the name.

He likes Hugo but I don't like 🙈

Names don't have to match! Choose the one you love the most. All 3 are lovely names- if you really can't decide, put them in a hat and see which two you draw out first.
(But I like Luke more than Luca- so I'd choose Luke Oliver or Oliver Luke)

I would chose Oliver for the first name, Luca's nice but it doesn't go with Imogen.

You could consider Lucan - it has the same Celtic roots as Imogen and fits better. Unusual too.

Luca doesn’t go with Imogen. It’s a trendy but already dated “pretend we’re Italian” name - unless you are Italian, of course.

What about Isaac? It keeps the 'zac' part of Zachary but is less rooted in a particular decade.

My worry is Luca is quite modern compared to Imogen and I worry it would date.
Zachary i quite like prefer zach and think Imogen and zach sound nice
