Delilah, Tallulah or Henrietta?

I love Delilah and Tallulah. Not keen on Henrietta at all - it's too much of a mouthful and too much like a boy's name made into a girl's.

Henrietta.

Delilah makes me think of the song. A cheating woman who is killed by her lover. Not a very nice asociation. And as pp said, the Biblical character isn't very pleasant either.

Ps Henrietta is lovely but where I am - SE London some people drop their 't' so is doesn't sound so attractive being shouted across the playground

Where we are it’s the H’s that get dropped. As much as I love the name I decided that I wasn’t as fond of ‘enrietta.

Love Delilah. Pretty but cool.
Henrietta isn't to my taste and reminds me of Horrid Henry.
Tallulah is just a big NO.

I love the name Hettie however not a fan of Henrietta sorry 😩

I really love tallulah and this has so many different nn variants such as lula, tallie, lulu 🤍

Delilah, by a country mile - love it.

Henrietta is quite ‘horsey’ and twee.

Tallulah is a bit naff.

Delilah by miles. Don't like DeeDee, but like Lila. The Delilah I know is called Lula for short.

I would LOVE to hear a baby called Henrietta! I suggested it for our 2 week old DD cos I love the nickname Etta. Gorgeous

I know a Tallulah who is known as Tilly. And a Henri. My vote goes for Henri.

Tallulah is a name I've always liked just sounds beautiful, not a fan of the other names though

Lulu is a cute nn for Tallulah. I know 2 Tallulahs, both adults in their early 20s. One goes by Tallulah all the time, the other Lulah or Lulu but only by family.

ADORE Tallulah! It's so cool. Spelled without an 'h' on the end, it's also the name of a rather obscure Irish saint, I learned recently, which I also thought was cool.

I don't like Delilah. So overdone and Delilah in the bible isn't the best namesake for a little girl. I always find it odd that the name gained such popularity - one step away from calling a little girl Jezebel IMO. I can only assume the parents of Delilahs didn't really bother to research where the name came from 🤔 Henrietta I think is a little ugly, but I love the nickname Hettie so much that I think it might be worth using. My order goes:
Tallulah
Henrietta
Delilah

I don't like Kerry very much, but it doesn't sound awful if you want to use your mum's name.

@FrozenoutofCostco I know everyone wont like them thats fine but I think "jesus" as if im suggesting naming my kid fridge freezer is a bit extreme these are pretty normal names haha

Well, I do like Kerry, but none of your first name choices.

Delilah and Tallulah just start me singing (Tom Jones and Bugsy Malone) . Henrietta just starts me thinking about vacuum cleaners.

I have a 7yr old Delilah and get so many compliments. When she was a baby we called her Deedee or Dee and some family still call her that. I sometimes call her Luli, dont quite know where it came from but most of the time call her Delilah
