Luella is a name I am really, really fond of. I just put a thread up about naming baby girl after nan however, if we don't go for that name we're thinking of Luella🤍 what do you think x

No. It's a bit weak sounding. A bit billy-rae married his cousin luella.

My Mums best friend is called Luella....she 75 and grew up in Canada where she said it was a popular name

I like other names which end in Ella, but am not keen on the Loo sound.

My friend has a Luella and she is the most gorgeous and wonderful little girl. I think it's a beautiful, unusual name. It can be shortened to Lulu which is sooo cute
