Registering the name today, still undecided!

My daughter is 2 weeks old and we are registering her name today. The names we have chosen are quite familiar since I'm french and my dh is Finnish/Welsh. We love them all! Impossible to choose but releaved she will soon have a name

Our finalists:
Lily
Elsi (without the e, the Finnish/Welsh spelling)
Freya
Vivienne (nn Vivi)
Ida (pronounced Ee-da)

I would not go for Lily as it's v popular or Ida as it would not be pronounced the way you want it in the uk.

Both nice names though!

Love your other 3 names though! If I had to pick it would be Elsi or Vivienne.

Vivienne definitely.

Elsi(e) is pretty ubiquitous these days, as is Freya and Lily. Ida's nice.

Vivi is absolutely beautiful, love it. I wouldn’t go for Ida because people constantly mispronounce it. The others are nice, but popular.

I know a little Elsie who is a sparky, funny, strong girl.
So to me that name has very positive connotations, but they are all lovely names so you can't go wrong really.

Lily is so popular I would probably not use it.

Elsi is lovely. Really lovely.

People will say Igh-da, so she might be faced with a lifetime of correcting people.

Pretend your dc is a challenging toddler. Practice saying each name over and over and choose the one that does your head in the least!!

Think about whether you want a name that will likely be shortened or not. Elsi will mainly be Elsi, but Vivienne likely to be Viv etc. Personal preference, but I really like both. We spent a few days calling our DD various names to see what felt natural!

Don't decide by coin toss. Look at your daughter, talk to your partner and decide what suits her best.
I like Lily btw.
