Middle name for Lisamarie

Last name sounds like Layhee
Some names I like but can't use are Finnley, Giselle, Jasmin, Bonnie, Dorothy, and Adina, so I guess my name style is already established names that aren't that common or common anymore.
Thanks!

Why do folks keep running Lisa Marie Presley’s first and miiddle name together like it’s one. It’s not it’s her first snd middle name.

spicedappledonuts · 17/09/2021 20:58

Lisa Marie Grace would suggest an extreme Elvis fan, good point.

GlitterBiscuits · 17/09/2021 20:52

Not Grace as Elvis lived at Graceland!

How about Lisa-Marie with a hyphen if you can't bear to hear that most people think Lisamarie is better as two names?

Greenmarmalade · 17/09/2021 20:26

Lisamarie Anais
Lisamarie Jane
Lisamarie Talia

I love honour names. Nice choice.

AwkwardPaws27 · 17/09/2021 20:19

I think you need something short to balance it, as Lisamarie is quite long and vowel-heavy.
Jade
Rose
Eve
Rae
Lux (too many Ls? But somehow it works...)

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 17/09/2021 20:10

I agree that a longer name will work better.

But two names is in my view a better idea.

And your dc is going to get a lot of Presley Comments, songs etc over the years I would have thought.

Theimpossiblegirl · 17/09/2021 19:52

Jade
Grace
Belle
Jean/Jane

I think one syllable works best.

But even with an honour name I'd personally split Lisa and Marie.

BrainPotter · 17/09/2021 19:46

@mathanxiety

I don't think a short name works in the middle spot. Any short name is going to look like a name tacked on for no reason. I would go for a long one.

Lisamarie Francesca
Lisamarie Gabriella
Lisamarie Nicolette
Lisamarie Alexandra
Lisamarie Anastasia
Lisamarie Renee
Lisamarie Alannah
Lisamarie Rosina
Lisamarie Tallulah
Lisamarie Andrea

Agree

Lisamarie Annabelle
Lisamarie Emerald
Lisamarie Tabitha
Lisamarie Matilda

Happenchance · 17/09/2021 19:29

I think you need something with a hard sound to balance your soft first name and surname, such as:

Lisamarie Kate
Lisamarie Gail
Lisamarie Margaret

ColouringPencils · 17/09/2021 19:25

Lisamarie Catherine/Kathryn Layhee

It's like a knee-jerk default name for most people when asked to think of a middle name. OP has wisely said she won't use it.

Actually I think Lisamarie Grace sounds lovely.

Dmsandfloatydress · 17/09/2021 19:16

Fifth for Presley. Seriously, the kid is going to have to live with this name so I would really try and take on board what people are saying. Lisa Marie Lahley. Hopefully your daughter wont mind having the same name as a significant number of women in their forties and fifties.

Seesawmummadaw · 17/09/2021 19:15

You hadn’t heard of Lisamarie Presley? Get ready to hear a lot about her!

AnneBoleyn6 · 17/09/2021 19:15

@MrsFin

Is the surname Leahey? Lisamarie L... anything isn't good.

And I agree with PPs. Lisa Marie is much better.

no, it's not, it doesn't start with an L haha
