Thoughts on the name Polly? I was rather shocked to see it has never been that high on the UK charts. Highest position was 184! I like that it is not overly ‘out there’ but still surprisingly not that popular!

I love Polly. I think it feels more like a nickname to me, but I don’t like anything that it could be short for.

It's OK. Does make me think a bit of parrots, lol. I prefer Molly.

It's one of the many nicknames for Mary, so although it's never been high in the charts as they only record registered names, it would have been more in use than it looks like.

It's gorgeous! It's been around long enough to have outgrown it's nickname origins and it's cute and quirky.
