Just that really! DH loves Rosalie…I still think it has hints of the Twilight saga after all this time..

Nancy 💜

adeleh · 07/09/2021 23:51

Rosalie is lovely. I wouldn’t go for Nancy or Daphne

sunnygemini · 07/09/2021 23:49

Rosalie is really pretty and could be shortened to Rosa which is lovely too

Kanaloa · 07/09/2021 23:30

I like Daphne best, don’t mind Rosalie, and dislike Nancy. I don’t think Rosalie is too associated with Twilight - almost every name has been used in some form of popular culture and Twilight’s not exactly ‘cool’ anymore. Different if you called your child Renesmee.

Buttercup54321 · 07/09/2021 23:28

Really dislike all 3.
Daphne softs like dafty
Rosalie slang for cup of tea
Nancy just hate it.
What about
Katie
Lucy
Rosemary
Millie

RaoulDufysCat · 07/09/2021 23:22

These are all kind of terrible. Nancy is the least bad.

DDSMUM2 · 07/09/2021 23:21

I love Rosalie! I didn’t think of Twilight and think since it’s not a main character you should be ok?

I don’t love Daphne and Nancy as much.. just don’t sound as pretty!

ChocolateCauldron · 07/09/2021 22:10

Rosalie. Nn Rose, Rosie.

Full disclosure I have an 8 yo Rosalie. I've never been asked once about twilight or if I'm a fan!

EdgeOfACoin · 07/09/2021 22:06

I like Rosalie. Daphne is okay. I can't stand Nancy.

CheesePleaseLoueese · 07/09/2021 22:02

@Heruka

Nancy definitely top, love Daphne too, Rosalie just no for me. First two are kinda vintage cool and Rosalie more twee meh uncool.
I agree with this. I’m my opinion Nancy and Daphne are both names which are full of personality whilst remaining quite classical.

Rosalie sounds a bit portmanteau and twee.

Daphne

I love Daphne and am still a little bit cross that I was not allowed to use it.
Rosalie and nancy also lovely. I would say rozalie

Firebird83 · 06/09/2021 21:01

Daphne

OddsNSodsBitsNBobs · 06/09/2021 20:58

Rosalie as PP mentioned Rosie Lea Tea, I love Rosalia though and Rozalia (Ro-Zah-lee-ah).

I quite like Nancy but how about Nina?

Daphne reminds me of Scooby doo and 1980s Neighbours

freelions · 06/09/2021 19:54

Daphne would be my choice but I like all 3 names

SoSoSoSleepy · 06/09/2021 19:53

I love Daphne. It was on my list, but discounted it as I live in the north west and it would sound horrible. Rosalie is nice, but I much prefer Rosa or just Rose. Nancy is a bit twee.

catsareme14 · 06/09/2021 19:32

Nancy , a beautiful, feminine, strong name .

Kitkat151 · 06/09/2021 19:27

Daphne

MotherOfCrocodiles · 06/09/2021 19:25

Never used to like daphne til I smelled the flowers in January and learned what it was. Such a lovely plant at a time of year when nothing else is blooming.

Heruka · 06/09/2021 19:21

Nancy definitely top, love Daphne too, Rosalie just no for me. First two are kinda vintage cool and Rosalie more twee meh uncool.

Sarcobaleno · 06/09/2021 19:20

Nancy. I love it but was vetoed by DH

Mamette · 06/09/2021 19:01

Nancy ❤️

RavenclawsRoar · 06/09/2021 19:00

I like all 3! I think I'd go for Rosalie...I didn't immediately think of Twilight (and I have read the books and seen the films!).

TatianaBis · 06/09/2021 19:00

Nancy by miles.

I like Rosalie too but not as much. Pretty but less characterful.

Daphne is grim.
